Driver to use for Autocad 2000
If you are accustomed to using a vector driver like the ADI driver in Autocad 14
you will want to use the HDI driver for Autocad 2000. Autodesk has an
HDI driver at their
website for use with CalComp Plotters. If you require raster then you
will need to use a Windows system printer driver the same as was used in Autocad 14. A raster
driver will be required if you need to import a .tiff image or similar into your drawings. For
Windows 95,98, orNT4.0 use the CalComp 95NT40_1,2,3 listed in our Driver
Library.

What is a ".hqx" (Macintosh) file?
The .hqx files permit easier transmission over the internet to a Macintosh.
You will, however, need an .hqx converter. Converters from .hqx to the Mac .sea format are
readily available on the web. Once one has been located:
- Download the .hqx file
- Download an .hqx converter program
- Use the .hqx converter to change the .hqx file into a .sea file (self-extracting archive)
- Run the .sea file. It will decompress and you will have the actual data file.
